It may not feel like it, but summer is just around the corner, and that means…..Summer camp! Kids ages 8-11 are invited to join us for a one-of-a-kind camp experience combining music, art, theatre, and adventure!

Hosted in partnership with the Rochester Brainery, this camp is sure to be the highlight of your child’s summer activities!

What is the cost of tuition?
$200

What is your refund policy?
Families that have already registered for camp and wish to cancel must do so before Friday, June 30, 2017. They will be issued a refund in full in the form of a Spectrum Creative Arts gift card. Gift cards may be used for any of our myriad individual or group services.

Should I pack a lunch and/or snack for my camper?
No — part of their camp curriculum will include culinary exploration. Campers will participate in guided meal prep, preparing their own lunch each day, with the help of a local chef. You are welcome to send a lunch with you camper if you prefer. If your camper has specific dietary requirements, please share details on the above form.

What will the daily schedule look like?
Each day will consist of a variety of different activities. Campers will start their days with a musical warm up, then move on to theatre games and activities, breakout activities like photography, improv, sound/lighting design, scenery building and stage combat. The afternoon will include lunch (made on-site by campers and staff), script/song writing, and a talent show!

Do you offer before and after care?
We do not offer before or after care.

Do you offer scholarships?
We do not currently offer scholarships for summer camp.

What is your pick-up/drop-off policy? 
Pick-up and drop-off will occur at the Rochester Brainery (176 Anderson Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607). Drop off is at 9am and pick up is at 2pm each day. Please note: a $10 fee will be applied daily for campers picked up after 2pm. Only individuals listed as an “Authorized Pick-Up Contact” on the above form will be permitted to pick-up your camper. Individuals authorized for pick-up will be required to present a valid ID upon pick-up. Only On Friday July 21, the last day of camp, our final performance will occur at the Multi-Use Community Cultural Center (MuCCC – 142 Atlantic Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607). Families are invited to pick up their camper at MuCCC after attending the final performance.

What if my child needs medication during the day?
If your camper needs any medication throughout the week, please notify us on the form above. A staff member will be available on the first day of camp to collect and store medications. Camp staff members are not allowed to dispense medication; all medication must be self-administered. All medications must be in the original container and accompanied by a physician’s note or they cannot be administered.

Is there a final performance?
Yes! The Creative Crusaders will finish their week of exploring art around the world with a free performance open to friends and families at MuCCC (142 Atlantic Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607). The performance will integrate the different styles of art, music, dance, and theatre that they explored throughout the week, and will take place at 12:30pm on Friday, July 21.
