Creative Arts Therapy
Spectrum Creative Arts offers both music therapy and art therapy services, including individual, group, and class-based therapy. Our person-centered therapeutic services are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Spectrum provides therapeutic services on-site, with an extended presence in the Rochester community and surrounding areas. We provide services in early intervention programs, school districts, community centers, senior living facilities, day care centers, rehabilitation clinics, group homes, and residential locations. For new clients, we provide an intake assessment, recommendations for therapeutic placement, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation of progress toward established clinical goals. Spectrum provides bi-annual reports and meetings with caretakers and/or family members to discuss progress and next steps in therapy. Spectrum’s dynamic therapeutic team specializes in creating unique experiences for clients to engage in within the therapeutic process. This may include opportunities for co-treatment with a music therapist and art therapist, as well as opportunities to work with Spectrum students from other departments. All of our therapists provide professional services and have met all of the established guidelines within their profession to provide services in New York State.
